  • Does your child localize to his/her name?
  • Can your child answer yes/no questions?
  • Can your child follow directions?
  • Does your child get easily confused?
  • Does your child understand new words each week?

If difficulty in this area was noticed, contact us regarding your child.

Expressive Language is not only what the child says  but HOW the words are expressed?

  • Does your child verbally express himself at an age appropriate level?
  • Does your child sequence his/her words correctly to make sense?
  • Is your child’s grammar adequate for his/her age?
  • Does your child have difficulty formulating what he/she wants to say?
  • Does your child use new words heard. Each week?

If your child has difficulty in any of these areas, a Speech and Language Evaluation may be necessary.
