Feeding Center
We are a parent-friendly facility where you and your child can feel supported while your child experiences foods he/she has never tried before.
We use a sensory approach to feeding with every child. Our approach is based on the SOS approach; however, every child needs individualized techniques to assist with their progression toward new foods. As experienced professionals, we recognize the oral motor component to eating as well as the sensory issues that children may need to overcome, paired with behaviors that occur which prevent many children from performing the task of eating.
After an initial evaluation with our highly experienced Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and if needed, Pediatrician, Dietician and Physical therapist, you will receive immediate feedback regarding goals and objectives. During the course of the evaluation, we will determine if your child is a good candidate for our program. With parental involvement and support, we have found significant progress.
Please see our feeding testimonials on this site to learn more about what other parents have to say about our program.
We do not use plastic food, toys, or force feeding methods of any kind to entice your child to “try” new foods. We do not restrain your child to a chair.
We do use real food, desensitize your child to new foods using a happy and comfortable environment and encourage parent participation. We train parents on how to use this technique at home and teach ways to incorporate home practice throughout all of our therapy sessions.
A comprehensive feeding package is available to assist with the cost of this specified program.

If you answered “yes” to 5 or more of these questions, please call us today to schedule an appointment. Frustration over mealtimes contributes greatly to stress in the family. Feeding issues involve your child’s health and wellness and make life very difficult for your child if the problems are not combated. After medical, behavior and sensory concerns are addressed, we find much success in the children we treat.
